Cover always a yes for me! For the first time, a cover art was part of the story in my books with the fiction podcast “People Who Knew Me”. After episode 5 it clicked...I was like wow. Just be aware of the email weight of the images when including in the newsletter so you dont get sent to the promotions or spam folders. Substack will let you know to keep it under 100kb.
Interestingly enough, cover art makes me less likely to read every entry. I scrolled a lot faster and skimmed more than with your previous posts
