Who am I?

Hi! I’m Devin. I love listening to podcasts, making podcasts, and marketing podcasts. I currently work at Tink Media, a podcast marketing company full of passionate audio-lovers who are dedicated to supporting this industry and moving it forward. Before starting at Tink, I was always looking for a way to support more podcasts. Sure, I love making them, but I also know there are so many incredible shows out there that need support to grow. Joining Tink was the perfect answer to that, because it’s exactly what I do every day now. You can learn more about the work we do and growing your show by subscribing to Podcast Marketing Magic, which I help edit sometimes!

You’d think after thinking about and working with podcasts all day, I’d want a break but most of the time that isn’t the case. I’m constantly checking out new shows, discovering old ones I never knew about, and reading about what other people are enjoying. Podcasts are my happy place.

If you want to learn more about my love of audio and why I created this, a talk a bit more about it in my first post. If you love Lauren Passell’s Podcast The Newsletter, I hope you’ll like this too, because I’d by lying if I didn’t say her writing inspires me every day. She even let me takeover her newsletter once!

What to expect from Podstack?

Podcast recommendations! I love talking about the stories, artistic choices, and feelings a podcast inspires. I used to tweet about them more, but this feels like a better place to continue and expand on that. I’ll share the name of the show, usually a specific episode to check out, what to expect from the format and tone, and why it resonated with me.

I plan to share new recommendations once a month, at a minimum. If my queue happens to be bursting with excellent audio, you might get a bonus post from me!

Do you accept pitches?

Yes! Of course! I would love to hear about your show. And I encourage you to really sell me on it! Recommend what you think is your strongest episode. Tell me about the format, the tone, the style, what makes it different, and what you hope listeners gain from it. To send me a pitch, make sure you’re subscribed and then reply to my newsletter when it arrives in your inbox. I’m excited to hear from you!

You can also find me on Twitter as long as it’s still a thing… And if you love food or cooking, you can find me on Two Market Girls!
